Islands in the Sea
The teams in Singapore and Indonesia completed the mobilisation of large amounts of equipment, which was required to start the construction of five artificial islands off the coast of Makassar. All shipments were supervised by our own port captains and shipped out as planned.
Approximately seventy five hectares of land will be reclaimed using nine million cubic meters of sand sourced from offshore borrow areas. The islands will be protected by rock revetments. The construction of the five islands marks the first phase of a prestigious development to provide high-quality waterfront land for both residential and commercial use.
