Desalination plant for Leading Mine in Chile

The teams in Europe, Americas and Asia kicked off the shipments for a new desalination plant for a major Chilean mine engaged in the extraction and production of copper concentrate. The project will involve the construction of a seawater desalination plant in Chile with a capacity of 1,050 liters per second.

The work will include the execution of maritime works, a pre-treatment system, as well as the development of reverse osmosis and post-treatment technology to guarantee the availability of water resources, the quality of which must be adjusted to the different operating conditions of the mining company.

We want to thank all parties involved and wish the teams involved a smooth execution of the project.
