A Tug for the UAE
Last weekend, our team successfully coordinated the loading of a brand-new tugboat bound for the United Arab Emirates. The vessel began its journey in central China, where it was transported upriver by barge before arriving in Shanghai for its ocean voyage.
Once in port, the tugboat was carefully transferred to a geared heavy-lift vessel, with our operations team closely supervising every step of the process. Precision and planning were key, as the loading involved complex lifting and alignment procedures to ensure the tug was safely positioned on deck.
Following the successful loading, our Port Captain was on-site to oversee the securing and sea-fastening operations, ensuring the tugboat was fully prepared for the long journey across the Indian Ocean to the Middle East. All procedures were carried out in strict compliance with international marine transport standards to guarantee a safe and smooth voyage.
