Guatemala Palms Refinery Expansion
Our teams are currently engaged in the strategic expansion of an existing refinery dedicated to processing raw palm oil and palm kernel oil in the heart of Guatemala. This project marks a significant step forward in strengthening regional production capabilities and meeting the growing demand across Central America.
To support this initiative, most of the specialized equipment has been sourced and shipped from manufacturing facilities in Mexico and India. These components are being installed and commissioned on-site, ensuring that the refinery can seamlessly integrate new technologies and increase its operational capacity.
The expansion is designed to accommodate a substantial increase in production volume, enabling the refinery to supply high-quality palm oil products to both regional industries and major supermarket chains. This growth aligns with long-term strategic goals for food supply resilience and regional economic development.
All construction and operational activities are being carried out under a comprehensive sustainability framework. The refinery strictly adheres to internationally recognized certifications, including the Rainforest Alliance and the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). These standards ensure that the palm oil production is environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable.
